The final evaluation is based on the programmatic theory of change and result framework with key performance indicators. The evaluation will assess the extent to which the program has met or is on track to meet overall goals, take inventory of lessons learned, build on experience, and make recommendations that will allow the model to be improved and refined during future iterations. The final evaluation should include information that can be shared internally and externally.

Specific tasks for e.Gen included:

• Project coordination

  • Participate in regular check-in meetings with Castalia and Water.org.

  • Contribute section to inception report, specifically the data collection plan and quality control process

• Survey data collection

  • Review endline survey instrument provided by Castalia. Confirm that Bengali translation is acceptable, and make edits to the translation if needed

  • Resurvey the 3,200 baseline respondents, using the list and contact information provided by Water.org

  • Provide quality control and oversight for data collection

  • Validate data and flag outliers

• Stakeholder interviews

  • Conduct 10-20 minute interview with branch manager and 1-2 loan officers at each MFI branch surveyed. An interview guide will be provided by Castalia.

  • Summarize the key findings from the interviews
