Project Description
The project GMSP-IADP is designed to improve the livelihood of Marginal and Landless farmers through various integrated projects. For that purpose a baseline study will be done to identify the target groups’ household, crop production, productivity, cropping intensity and diversification, technology and other inputs’ use, income generation activities and opportunities, credit facilities and delivery systems, gender development issues, etc.
 Designing the survey technique for the base line study so that it does not get affected by any kind of biases. The design will be such that makes use of survey tools especially applicable for the GMSP are and takes least amount of time. Formulating the PRA team and providing training on how to collect information and submit report. These teams will work under the supervision of the consultants.
Designing the sample for the base line study survey. This will include identifying the statistically significant sample size, the villages to be surveyed, the households in the villages to be surveyed and listing them.
Setting up the information gathering tools and standards for measurement of adequacy of response. A checklist will be formulated for use by the survey team members.
The field survey will be conducted under strict supervision of the consultants. The study will include the interview of relevant officers of DAE, LGED, NGOs and selected Banks as well as the target groups.
