TA 4898-BAN: Promotion of Private Sector Participation in Power Sector

The TA will assist the Government to promote private sector participation and public-private partnership (PPP). Based on the country specific analysis, the TA will help the Government to update the 1996 private sector participation policy and formulate enforceable regulations to be tailored to the latest market environment. The TA will also assist the Government to develop PPP models in generation and distribution sub sectors.
