The responsibilities of the consulting firms included:
Finalize the audit scope
List key legal & regulatory compliances and prepare the audit program.
Prepare & send information / data request to the client
Execute the audit program & carry out field work independently
Secure the appropriate resources for the project at the right time
Track / monitor project, control the project and report progress on a regular basis against budget, schedule and quality targets. Includes anticipating any project management issues before they surface and taking appropriate remedial action
Ensure timeliness and adequacy of deliverables
Do timely & proactive escalations in case of delays
Regularly update the PwC Project Manager on the progress of the project
Discuss the observations with all relevant stakeholders
Close loop the audit points, obtain management comments / action plan & make high quality & implementable recommendations
Finalize reporting formats in consultation with PwC
Finalize draft as well as final audit reports.
Prepare presentation for exit meetings & senior management.
To do opening & exit meetings with the client.
