The main objectives of this consultancy assignment were:

• To design and implement the capacity building program of PPRP II

• To complete the remaining documentation for secondary legislations

• To support the CPTU in implementing the PPRP II.

• To improve performance of the public procurement system Bangladesh, focusing on the key sectorial ministries and targeting their implementing agencies. Responsible for improving the Design and implement the capacity building program of the IMED/CPTU.

• Assisting international counterpart in review and revision of standard bidding documents, standard reports for bid evaluation and other formats (developed by CPTU under Public Procurement Reform Project) used for procurement of goods by Government of Bangladesh (GOB).

• Assisting Concession Model Document Preparation Specialist in preparation of the Concession Model Document. Providing legal inputs in preparation of standard bidding documents for goods, works and services involving important stakeholders at various stages and finalize accordingly. Preparing quarterly and annually implementation status report for the project.
